I was at the University of Sydney for a total of 4 1/2 years, for both my Masters in International Studies and PhD in International Relations. This period was an important formative phase for my academic career. So when I was invited to moderate two forums consisting of Australian graduates for the Down Under Camp 2017, I was happy to oblige.
The Down Under Camp 2017 was organised by the Malaysian Students’ Council of Australia (MASCA) to help prepare undergraduate and postgraduate students who are about to embark on their own tertiary experience in Australia. This one-day camp was held in KDU Glenmarie Campus. I moderated two forums, entitled “Aiming for the Southern Star” and “From Football to Footy”. The panel consisted of Australian graduates who are currently attached to various public and private companies.
